We are therefore well placed to attract buyers to the businesses on our books to those potential purchasers who do not yet have the facility to access our web site.

Do you need a stocktaking service?

We provide a prompt and efficient stocktaking service, either at your financial year end, or on sale of the business. Often the year-end stock figure will be estimated by the proprietor of the business but this may potentially cause difficulties as an incorrect estimate can mask problems in the business, such as a reducing gross margin, perhaps pilfering or stock loses, which do not come to light until a sale of the business is sought at which time the financial accounts of the business are subject to stringent financial analysis. For your own peace of mind consider the value of an accurate year end independent stocktake.

A stock-take on business transfer or sale is more involved as it involves checking for out of date or damaged goods, in addition to the actual valuation of the stock. An independent stocktake ensures there is no dispute between buyer and seller on the question of stock valuation.
